Yeah I checked on strobes like they put In pace cars and cop cars. There about 400 dollars for six strobes and the control box.
I'm not going to hate on you if that's what you want to do but if I were going to do it I would buy the good one's if you can find them. It's easier to buy drugs than a nice set of strobes. lol But if it were me I would put one in each headlight and one in each turn signal on the front and one in each reverse light. Kind of a pace car look.

I can't believe somebody can't come in here and ask a simple question about something he wants to do to HIS car without all the rice flags being thrown up. He asked for pointers not for your opinions. I mean come on he asked about strobe lights not a F***ing big *** wing or something like that, and if he does want a big *** wing its his car. cobrakillr718 I say go for it man. I would put them in the headlights.

Also have any of you guys ever seen any Corvette Caravans going down the highway. Nine times out of ten there is a vette in front of the pack with strobes on leading them. I think that is awesome. I think strobes are fine as long as there not purple or green or some other rice color. Let me elaborate on what I was saying earlier. I think if you had one in each headlight and one in each turnsignal up front. I think it would be cool to have the headlight on the right side flash and the turnsignal an the left side flash at the same time. Then the other way around on the next sequence. I think that would be pretty cool. IMO.

You will never see a Corvette Caravan or a pace car using Street Glow strobes. They are so underpowered that you can't see them in daylight. Why do you think you can get a set for under $100? That's what prompts "rice" comments - the Street Glow strobes are for indoor shows and night use only.
If you want strobes that can be seen, get a set of Whelen or Sho-Me strobes. They'll cost more but people will see them. I have a set on my Gold Wing and in the wife's SUV for use when supporting charity bicycle rides. We had tried the Street Glow but found that they couldn't be seen in daylight.
