Default Question about speakers?

The front door speakers crack at a certain volume if anyone knows why please let me know. Or if anyone has the same problem please help me out.if you know how to fix it.

we'll need more info than that...everything stock? what is a "certain volume"??....

im not sure what the front door speakers are i haven't taken the panels off to find out. But all i know is that there after market and they crackle at around the volume of twenty on an after market cd player. none of the other speakers crack its just the 2 front ones.

They could be blown, or there just fading out because you are playing them too loud.

theres no way that its to loud but maybe they are blown thats what i thought wasn't sure. cuz the guy i bought the car from said thats just what they do and don't know why. But anyway what size speakers are in the doors and what are the best kind? I was thinking alpine what do y'all think?

Best is a matter of opinion... Some people will say Rainbows (I haven't heard them, so I don't know), some might say MB Quart (I like mine, but there could be better), and some will say Alpine (of course some people will say Alpine just because they like to say Alpine ).

How much are you looking to spend? Are you willing to run an aftermarket amplifier? For "best" sound, you'll have to have an amp. The "best" you can do on a low budget is a different answer.

Oh, and they are 6.5". Really standard size and not hard to replace.

i don't really care how much i spend on the speakers just not to much . But i just want to know if that is what the problem is. Is if there blown or just peaking out. An i thought i was gonna put my subs in my car but i don't think so, im still thinking about that one. So if i don't have the subs then i don't have to worry about a amp for the speakers.
