I have the same question. I'm thinking about tapping power from the Cig-lighter. Does anyone have better/other suggestions.

What about inline fuses? Necessary?

Need to run a relay. I tapped into the AIR fuse (AIR system is removed) for the relay's main power. The activation switch needs to be momentary, meaning when you release your finger from the switch, the solenoid lets go. This is an NHRA/IHRA-mandated safety compliance rule. The switch needs to provide power to the signal wire on the relay via a fused/switched power source. I'm using my factory ASR switch (ASR removed) as my line lock button.

Factory ASR switch is momentary. If you've removed that system, you can use that switch. I'm going to order up another fog light switch and ASR switch for my nitrous arm and purge buttons/switches.

I did not know that the factory ASR switch was a dead mans button, I though it was an actuall switch like the fog light. Then again, my car did not come with the traction control button.
