Not a complete answer, I know, but it's a start in the right direction. Years ago I had a second 300 amp alt on my chevy tahoe. I'm pretty sure I bought it from these guys, but it has been a while. Either way, they make brackets for dual alts, & chevy is a popular application. So give them a call, I bet they can help.

just out of curiosity why would you need two alts unless you had an insane sound system with a whole bunch of like off road lights, couldnt you just get one bigger alt?
