Default Installing Harlan light??

Hooking it up in a bit. I'm gonna put it in the center vent. What is the best 12v to tap into for this? I though about the ASR since it's disabled but the button still lights up and has power.

I mounted it in the center A/C vent. Tapped the #10pin on the ECU, tapped the ASR pink wire for 12v switch, and used a ring connector on the lower dash bolt in the passenger footwell for the ground.

Then programmed it for 5800rpm. I'll experiment with the activation point later. I'll get pics up in the next few minutes.

When I tried to use my dash bolt for a ground it wouldn't work. I had to move it to a really good ground under the hood. I really like my Harlan, especially for the price.

Mine is red & in my a-pillar & I can see it just fine even during the day. At night it illuminates the driverseat when it goes off.

Pic of it in the vent all closed up.

Pic w/ the vent off

Tapped the pink wire for the ASR

Ground to the tab right behind the cup holder in the lower dash. Took a bit of looking, but this metal strap is attached directly to the body. Don't mind the tape, i just pulled it back for the pic.

Tapped the white wire going the #10 pin

(Sorry pic was lost) If anyone needs one i can go snap another. Just PM me.

Thanks for the pics DJ. I like the idea of the vent as it isn't visible if a cop pulls you over. I'm all about the stealth look. How do you like it's operation with it being in the vent?

Easily visible both day & night?

No prob bro. It hits in right on the mark!! Just got it in this morning so haven't tested it at night yet. I'll post up after work.
And for $20-30 less than the Raptor, it's a damned good deal too.
