Default IPod Connector Q?

I have a Pioneer Avic N2 DVD/Nav system and would like to know if someone could please tell me if the Pioneer CD-100II Ipod Interface hooks up to the back of the Headunit or the Hideaway unit? I've tried looking on the Pioneer website for installation guides and didn't find what I was looking for. Any help will be gratefully appreciated...

Thanks,
Isaac

The Ipod interface should have an application guide for all the compatible head units it supports.

The answer is Yes.

It plugs into both of them. on p. 7-8, substitute the ipod adapter for the XM tuner that's pictured.
