With an underdrive pulley, you'll need to pay close attention to the power output at various RPMs. My old 160 amp alternator with an underdrive pulley required me to bump up my idle to 900 RPMs...otherwise, it wouldn't charge.

So far, my 200 amp alternator from Alterstart (on Ebay) has been great, and they provide an output sheet to show you where it turns on and what it puts out.

I want to say like $200-250 for my 200 amp, but I really don't remember.

Yeah, bump the idle up a little(900rpm) and go with the 200amp alternator to be on the safe side; plus you'll have enough power for future amplifier up-grades.
