Default what size ANL fuse should I get?

I'm running 1600 watts rms, max I don't really know...I love to play my music loud!!!

I got the Alpine PDX 4.150 and PDX 1.1000 amps, will be changing my power wire/ground wires to 0/1 gauge from the existing 4 ga.

I have a 150 ANL fuse now, is that enough?

Thumbs up

If all you're doing is upgrading your power/ ground cable and not installing more/larger amplifiers , there's no need for a larger amperage fuse.

Hi Carlos, 150-200 should be plenty for that application. As stated if you were running that size (150amp) fuse before without any issues it should be plenty.

I bet thats even larger than you need...but a bad short is probably still more current and should pop the fuse right away.

Either way...if you can turn the volume up and you don't pop the fuse, it's not too small.
