Default anyone have pics of custom installed indash screens on trans ams

i have a 2000 WS6 and ive seen some people install custom indash radio/tv/dvdplayers in the stock location on the trans am, i belive a 7inch wide screen will fit possibly well i would like to see if anyone has done that before and maybe post some pics of how it looks and how you installed it, what it took to make it fit

this is just a link i found to show you what i would like to put in place of my stock radio not this model something better but that size and i dont want a pop out i think they look tacky

The screen size isn't the issue - the double DIN chassis size is what you're looking for. There are double DIN head units with screen sizes ranging from 5.8" through 7" (7" is about the largest that will fit that chassis size).

Double DIN units can be made to fit the dash but you'll need to make a custom trim bezel for the larger face and do a little trimming of the opening to get it to fit. Do a search on "double DIN" and you'll find a few threads detailing the installation complete with photos.
