Need a quality sub that fits in a stealth?
So i bought the Stealthbox from Subthump along with an Amp rack for my Rockford Fosgate Amp.
What's a good 10" Sub that fits in the stealth enclosure perfectly and its a good quality sub that can handle some power???
How does the RE Audio SE10 Sub fit and would it handle the power from a 1000Watt Amp??? I would just need to turn the amp down some right???
Or what about the FiQ10 Sub???

Both those subs fit in that stealth enclosure fine and both would handle that amp. Which RF amp is it specifically. The RE SE10 D4 handles 600watts RMS, 1200watts peak power. The Fi Q10 handles 1000watts RMS. The RE Audio SE10 is also about $100.00 cheaper then the Fi so there are a few variables to consider, both are nice subs.

Thanks for the help, about the amp. Im not totally sure but since my friend say's its a 1000Watt Amp. Then i would assume it could be 1 of these model amps in the link below. It looks exactly the same as the gray amp in the picture.....

I also notice on the center cap with the logo it has "1001bd" on it. Im not sure if that's the model # or what.

That is a very good sub! I'm working with another company right now to get some subs of that quality and a lower pricing but it's still in the works. The CDT ES-Gold subs are close to those but way more expensive. I have a pair of CDT SQ-12's I plan on installing one day when I get enough time to work on my own car. Those are extremely nice subs as well but not made anymore.
The Fi Q will do you right!

i use the pricey boston acoustics for mids and highs and kicker for my subs and amps. makes for a really nice combination. plus the kicker amp has the bass control so you can turn it up and down as you please.

I've had JL w3/6/7's, kicker solo-barics, vega strokers, DD's, fosgate punches and punch power hx3's, infinity perfects, and Kicker cvr's.
my latest sub is an IDMAX, and although I was initially wary, since I had not personally heard one before I bought it; I have been very impressed.
I havent yet heard anything with this kind of sound quality but a well-powered JL w6; and nothing with the combination of sound quality and quantity. I'm powering it with plenty of juice, seems to like a hair over 1000rms, and the bass is clean, uncolored and crisp. if you throw a test disk in, she'll bounce your head against the windshield like a w7 or solo-baric.
search for it on google.
or get really stupid and search for a critical mass UL12

ditto. I went with a kee box since it is bigger than the subthump or the jl. ian went as far as to squeeze as much room into it as he could, and it sounds great. I suppose you could throw a couple pounds of polyfill in the subthump box and make it happier though.
personally, i think if you feed it nice clean power, the idmax will easily tolerate 1000-1200 watts. granted, I haven't had mine long, and I am careful to listen for sounds of the sub bottoming out or distorting. I would bet you could feed a 10" idmax with 800 watts all day long for years.
either way, it sounds great and for the price, I am very satisfied.
if you want more budget oriented(idmax's run 400 or so for a 10), they make an IDQ line as mentioned above. Its not as beefy(loud) but is supposed to have better sound quality than the IDMAX, which is geared toward high sound output while still staying clean. never heard an IDQ either though, so no personal experience here. they run quite a bit cheaper, maybe around the 200 mark iirc.

50 to 1000 RMS
I only know what happened with my 12 and when I questioned it I found others that were smoking the coils with 1000 real watts. I called ID and they said don't run them on high power.
