im on my way home from work when some guy in a volvo i have no idea what it was alls i saw on the back was volvo and AWD and its a 4 door. i look over at him and he gives me this smart *** smirk and takes off at this point im like wtf? he gets about 3 cars out before im like **** this guy and his volvo so i drop it in third from about 55-60 and give chase and to my surprise by 110 im still behind him, i was gaining ground on him but slowly and i had to shut down for traffic before i could pass him. i dont know weather this is a kill or death but i know i would have beat him if it was a real race but that thing surprised me of how hard it was for my car to catch up to a damn volvo. he didnt have exhaust i know this for sure i could barley hear his car with my window down so im thinking he was bone stock.

I am guessing it was a S60R they will make alot of ppl think twice about a volvo. They are sweet *** cars

you would have raped him in a real race, i raced one in my TBSS and pulled one. and my
tbss runs 13.30's. the s60r's are a solid 14 second car. a full exhaust m6 f-body should destroy one.

yea i know it would have been a lot different if it were a real race but he was probably already at 80-90 when i hit it to give chace i was watching some videos of s60's beating m3's on you tube, i couldnt find one racing an f-body

Sometimes you can't get someone to go from an even start, lol. Some those Volvos are pretty quick. I raced one that I wasn't able to beat with my LT1 when it was stock.
