Default T/A vs VW

i was driving home last night and this VW something or another comes to my side throwing me a rev, i have a ticket right now so im really trying to stay out of trouble. anyways we went from a roll, i let him take the bite first, starting at about 40 or so i was in 2nd and went. he immediatly put about 3/4 a car on me then i started pulling up, i looked down and we were at about 100 so i shut down. we played a little here and there, those are usually turds but this one was quick! chirping tires through 3rd... i really gotta give it to this guy. but sadly we caught a light, the light turns green.. i bog it a little on the start so i dont spin too bad, a hard shift into second and i pulled about a car on him and third remained about the same. he had a camera going so hopefully we can see a video soon, if some people can keep an eye out on youtube, streetfire, or know of a VW forum and look out for the video thatd be great. but props to the other guy, he was cool and wasnt a ricer like the rest... and he had a badass little car.

I got suprised by a gti a couple of summers ago. Pulled only about 1 car length on him from 40 to 110. When I got home I started to look at their message boards and saw how much modification is done on those turbos and then it made sense. They can really be quick with a little wrenching.
