Default WS6 vs 08 ninja zx-6r

went out tonite, found a 08 black ninja to play with, i was N/A on 18s

First Run: Dig to about 130, had him by a car or so.

Second run: same thing to about 110-120 started to pull, a bike or so at about 130!

Wow... i didnt think you could run with a bike at that power level. Was he a decent rider as far as you could tell?

You beat a 600 from a dig in an 11 sec car?

You raced someone who couldn't ride. Either way though a kill is a kill. Good job.

how big of a shot were you spraying? I don't see you keeping up with a 130mph bike but nice kill regardless

Sorry but after going to the track and seeing what real people run. I can definitely see this happening. A guy on a new R6 was running 11.8's, he asked me to take it down the track for him. Oh well kill is a kill. Those bikes should be in the 10's.

There's a possibility it could have been a ZZR... either way, good kill OP but don't expect that every time.

congrats you beat a bike, however keep in mind he probably was a bad driver so don't think you could beat all 600's. The problem with most bikes is the driver mod, it really comes into play. I saw a busa run 12's at my local track, not sure if I was seeing it right my friend and I both made sure it was a busa and the announcer said it was one. I still can't beleive I saw a busa run 12's, oh it wasn't even a 12.00 it was a 12.7X@12X. Guy babied the **** out of the launch, I bet 2.3 60' and shifted slower than most newb honda drivers.

My 07 zx6r(same exact bike) ran 10.6 with just a front sproket change and aftermarket exhaust/cat delete. Stock everything else down to the filter. Sounds like it ended up a drivers race .

It is so rider dependant though its not even funny, much more so then cars. The driver can easily make a full second or more difference in the 1/4. The power range for a 600 is narrow, between 10,000 and ~15,000 rpms, and they go by very fast .

This is definitely believable. I have been up against a lot of guys on bikes who really can't ride that well. They sound like they are hauling ***, but aren't. Obviously I think he beat the rider, not the bike; but there aren't too many bikes out there that are actually ridden by someone who can really wring them out! If you get a 600 out of that tiny little powerband of theirs, they really don't move so well...

But...isn't beating the rider/driver really more what racing is about? Otherwise we could all just bench race and call it a day without ever turning a tire.

So to the OP, congrats and enjoy the hell out of your victory. A race is a race you won, just don't let it go to your head that you are now Bike Slayer!

Well said FormulaZR, the rider is what your racing, not the bike. Good kill!
