lt1 ta vs ls1 ta mods lt1 trans am: cai, full exhaust, cut out, short throw, and hypertech programed
mods ls1 trans am: ls6 intake, full exhaust dumped behind the axle, and 373 gears
So the other night i was crusing around when this black auto ws6 started messing with me. I just ignored it the first couple of times but he just kept aging it on so i pulled in to a parking lot to talk to the guy. So he followed me to the parking lot, when we got out he started talking about how slow lt1s are so i kept my mouth shut and kept on listing to him rant about his ws6 and how he beat a lt1 earlier. Then was like well his is an lt1 so why dont yall run them. The guy kinda chuckled and said ok, so we agreed on i set the roll and he would honk and get the hit cause hes an auto car. So we went out across the boarder to show down.
First race i set the roll at 30, he looked at me and i gave him the thumbs up and he did the same and started honking. On the 3rd honk he hit it and i followed suit by the top of first i was a car ahead and by the top of second i pulled alittle more and the top of third i was about a car and 1/2 ahead when we shut down. He was a cool sport about and it and gave me the thumbs up when he went by.

Im going to go ahead and say it. We have an official troll...
So this is the 2nd LS1 you are letting get the hit and pulling and you only ran a best 14.0 at the track.

i thought this was writen by the same guy as the other one. how come it seems like all the ls1s you run into are talking **** on lt1, followed by you putting lengths on them?
same as last time, i dont believe it. that ls1 is putting down 330-350rwhp with gears. whats a bolt on lt1 make? like 320 max? i can imgaine you would get a good car or maybe more off the jump, you being a stick vs an auto with no stall, but i think hed reel you in and itd be pretty even. get vids for us of you LS1 killings man.....

I am waiting dude, I'll laugh so hard because I know a STOCK LS1 Z28 that would run him, or a GXP or a GTP or a cobalt or a Camaro. What can I say I have alot of friends.

no guys im not that kid i live in amarillo and drive a silver trans am, and the ls1s in the storys are dogs they run like ****, im not sayin i can beat every ls1 out there, but i can run with some of them

Your car will lose against a similarly modified (bolt-on for bolt-on) LS1 f-body if the driver is atleast as good as you. It's just that simple.

I beat bolt on ls1 cars when I had my lt. It only had full exhaust and cai and went 13.4 @ 106 on a 2.0 60'.
I will say all the lsxs I raced lacked a driver mod hardcore and my current car is ALOT faster than the lt

96tatrent, just bring a camera at all times when going to meets. when my buddies car is finally up n running (96 LT1, headers, true duals) ill run him and tape it to show you what a similarly modded race will look like (with an ls1 trying) fyi, im LTs, duals, and 3.73's.
