Yeah thats what im going to do the camara is never going to leave my car, Its all good nit0racing21 i dont run my mouth if i know im going to lose, and i respect ls1 infact i just bought a 00 ws6 6 speed, and i really want to see what my car will do against a similar modded ls1 with the driver mod i think it would be very close

ive personally witnessed the OP's lt1 hang with a low 12 second BBC....it does run amazingly well for a lt1 though i dont know how or why. he wont tell anbody anything other than the mods listed good runs anyway trent, even if you are hiding somthing....

yes ive seen it run . its a 64 chevy II nova with a 454. i went 12.3 at 107 with a 1.7 60ft. everybody here suspects the OP is spraying but he wont admit to anything. ive beat every similarly modded lt1 ive ever raced in my ls1s so somthings up with it for sure. after i finish putting my 99 together ill try to get him to go and post the vids.

well from a roll with the trap speed of the nova i see no reason for a 6 speed lt1 with the mods (or close to) or what he posted up..

i still dont believe those are his only mods though..

agreed. i dont believe those are his only mods either but with whatever he has done to it, it runs better than the other lt1s around here.

hey guys those are the only mods i know of when i bought the car from the guy those are the mods the were done to it, but every body around here thinks it has a lt4 heads and cam or some thing

Those are his only mods, , its a well maintained car and accepts minor mods well!!! Yes LS1 run DAMN good no lie about that but it dosent mean LT1s cant either , ive seen this car run and it runs good for the mods, and just about everyone of the cars on here have WAY better air , 6700+ DA most days here !! Plain and simple good job trent keep it up and im ready to put the cam in when ever you are !!!! Good race, it has facotry 643 heads , and no cam for sure there is no iternal work done still has the stamped 1.5s on it

If the nova or whatever ran low 12s in 6700 DA, he most DEFINITELY has more mods done to it..

Im sure it dosent ,minor weight pulled (spare tire and jack) , 160 thermo, pacsetter longtubes,custon y pipe to cutout , hypertech programmer , and a centerforce clutch, stock gear on 245/50/16s , the nova is 454 with a 4000 stall on 373s , eveyone knows stick cars are better roll racers , belive me his car surprises me no doubt about that at all .....

So... The OP's car "hung" with a car that traps 107mph and yet beat a 3.73's/exhaust/intake LS1 by one and a half cars?
I'm with Lemon's original statement and/or the LS1 driver doesn't know how to drive.

Keep in mind that, that trap speed is in 6700 DA. And FYI, my 6speed LT1, with just cai, LT's, TD's, and MadZ28 tune was able to take my cousin's '98 SS auto, with a lid, muffler delete, 3.73's, and a shift kit, from a 20 roll. I put about a car length on him through 3rd. Then, he closed the gap in 4th, and got by me, once I hit 5th.

doesnt matter what the DA is.. if the its that high of a DA the lt1 will be running high 14s/low 15s@less than 100mph.. Any N/A car is affected by DA, not just Novas!
I have never had a similarly modded lt1 keep up with me.. not even with more mods..
i have only raced 2 that were close to stock and i was close to stock..

him-95 M6 Vette exhaust/intake/gears
went from about a 40 roll.. i honked it off.. hung with me decently through the first gear probably within a car length or so.. shifted into next gear and i pulled about 1/2 a car, by the top of that gear i had about 3 lengths on him.. shut down after that and pulled over and talked..

me-98 A4 TA lid/LM exhaust
him-95 A4 Vette exhaust/one passenger
went from about 25-30... i had traction problems and spun until i shifted but had pulled about 1/2 car on him.. by the time i hit about 60-70 i had around 3-4 cars on him and still pulling pretty good..

i have raced many other lt1s.. not many gave too much of a fight, are there some out there? sure.. but the majority..

this is why its hard for me to believe..

Everyone has their stories of beating cars they shouldn't have.
Just as their are supposedly bolt-on LS1 f-bodies that have beaten pulley cobras from a roll (Or so swear their owners).
I find it hard to believe that the LT1 won unless the LS1 driver didn't know what he was doing.
