Nice kill. The gs should run very low 13's, high 12's with those mods. The vs cam isn't the best, but better then stock. He should put in a zzp xp cam!! And a gen v blower.

Thanks. I agree he should be bottom 13's. Funds are mainly what is limiting his setup at the moment. His tranny needs rebuilt. It randomly pulls huge amounts of timing at shifts, not all the time tho.

I ran 13.4 with less mods, no tune for the cam short shifting on street tires in Az sumer.

...basically that car should be damn near 12s.

Tho that looked like he was barely in the 13s...

Sounds like torque management, not a tranny problem.

Was the torque management removed in the "full tune"?

You have to remember that the GS has a non intercooled m90. Anything over 75 outside and they heat soak bad. I know because I own 2 of them. That car is low 13's on a 50 degree day, with a 1.9-2.0 60ft. The night we raced it was mid 80's, yes I agree it was mid upper 13's. You don't have humidity in your area like we do. If its in the 80's or higher it's always 70% humidity+. Thats why cars around here rust the **** out. All kinds of 2000 up silverado's rotting. Also both cars were heatsoaked from low speed driving in traffic also. We were cruising down the main drag in our area and raced randomly before we got to the bypass. Point is: It was a subpar run for the both of us, but it was fun...
