Default Foxbody 1, LS1 0

Had a quick run in today with an unknown foxbody Mustang. I was cruising down 99 on my way home and came upon a white LX notchback which appeared to be a 4-cylinder with no tailpipes, no badges and "10-dot" wheels. I cruise up beside to see a guy probably in his late 20's and notice a single gauge pod on the pillar with a gauge in it (of course). The guy had what I would call a confident rather than cocky expression on his face as he glanced over at my Camaro and just sort of grins as if it's no biggie. So I grin back at him with a smirk and proceed to cruise on by. A few seconds later I see him in my side view mirror changing lanes so I know what's coming next. I was about a car length and a half in front of him when I see him punch it so I proceed to go full throttle, and to my suprise he reels me in and jumps ahead. We ran from about 65-115 with him keeping a 1-1/2 car length lead on me the whole way. I cruise up next to him to give him a thumbs up and he doesn't even acknowledge me. Oh well, I lost. He won. So be it.

My mods are: TNT 100-shot Wet kit (empty bottle @ the moment), Ported TB, TB Bypass, Bellows, Ported MAF, Lid, cut lower box, Pulley, 160* stat, LT's, ORY, Tune by Steve Frost, Fidanza aluminum Flywheel, Mc Leod Series 600 clutch kit, Eaton Posi w/ 4.10's, some suspension work and weight reduction. I'd be willing to bet that single gauge on the pillar wasn't just there for show!! All in all it was a good run with a fast Mustang!

No exhaust on the stang? I'd bet it was a turbo car with a open down pipe!
That's how I ran my turbo gp on the streets.
