Default just readin the threads so i figured id post a story or two.

well my first story is straight out of north dallas texas. one night i was heading back from a car show with a bud of mine following, just driving normal not doing anything dumb or showing off. next thing i know i hear a loud *** noise coming up from behind me followed by the woosh of a blowoff valve. i look over and its a 95 240 with what i guessed was an sr20 of some sort. so i pull into this parking lot hoping he will come follow. anyways so i pull in and he pulls next to me says how he always wanted to race a camaro ss. i ask him what he got and he told me an sr20 pushing 9 lbs of boost. now a few months earlier i had raced my buddy who has a very similar car cept a way better suspension and was either dead even or 1 car ahead each time and hes running 14 or 15 lbs. so i was like hell yeah lets do it. so we hit the street again and we got to about 35 or 40 mph and he beeps three times and i hear the brakeboosting going on and in my head im like **** man you gonna need it lol. so after the third beep we hit it. i powershifted 3, powershifted 4th, and at about 120 when i had several cars on him i noticed the wind rushing over my head. well slamming 4th caused my drivers side t top to shoot to the moon and shatter into a million pieces. but hell my car drug his *** so i couldnt be that mad lol........silly ricers

Nice kill man. I always worried about my t-tops in the back of my mind. Sucks you lost one, but you got the win. Nice.

Default 2002 ss vs 2008 dodge caliber srt4 link to vid inside

my friends caliber has a bigger dp, stage 1 tune, and has raised her boost to like 17 or 18 psi. she dynos around 300 or 310 to the wheels.

i have a ls6 intake because its a 2002 full slp exhaust, 3.73 gears and a whisper lid with a k an n filter so basically stock. i guesstimate probly around 350 or so rear wheel hp but then again i shifted like **** and my car is def heavier. still waiting on the better vid where i shifted perfect and got her by more.

Good kill. I think I have seen one 240 personally in my life. Glad to hear you got to run one. Sounded like fun to bad for the T Tops

Good kill! Sucks about the t-top. I've never had it happen to me, but I've heard too many stories. People laugh and don't believe me when I tell them that it can happen, but the joke will be on them.

those sr20's are no joke. i built one about 5 yrs back. nothin crazy, stock motor, t3/t4 hybrid, 550 injectors, z32 maf other misc ****. 15lbs laid down 300whp and 280 wtq blowin through the clutch. should've been 320-330 ish with about 300wtq with a good clutch. 2200lb ride. i remember i used to eat up bolt on, geared ls1 cars and pull pullied and exhaust 03-04 cobras. so....., nice kill op!
