Default 09 C6 mods??? Vs 6.0L w/Cam

I tried to get it on video but he stayed on my pass side so a pic was all i could get.

Im heading out of town, and i came up on a silver C6, it sounded throtty so i

assumed it had at least exhaust, (Im thinking intake-tune-exhaust) (four on

each side) we get to play a little before traffic breaks and i pulled on him a

little due to a jump, he slowed down and opened his pass window i thumbs

uped him and yelled 3??? LS3?? i yelled again, he drew a 9 in the air, so i

yelled 0-9 ??? he shook his head and smiled. hehe little did he know.

about this time we break traffic, and since I have never ran a LS3 as of yet

so im pretty excited as we head to a nice 8 lane, I gear down to 3rd as we

are at appx 70ish. we are heading up hill in a slight curve and i was on the

outside so we kick it, I pull right of the bat but he is still there, I hit 4th

and he creeps back on me (auto) I let her go and we are rounding 100 plus

im pulling on him but not as much as i should due to him having to inside lane.

i am really pulling hard now topping fouth out and looking down at 135-138

ish he is back a good car or so and i went ahead and hit 5th as he left off. I

was THRILLED, i came back up but he would not even look over this time????

WHATEVER DUDE.

Hope i didnt bore ya.

ps. lol i noticed the mirror sticker after taking the picture LOL

so stockz: do you have a LS2 engine, or just heads? Your sig says "LS2_6spd" but if that was the case you would have already had LS2 heads on which makes this confusing: "Not since i added the heads (stock 6.0L w/ a little hand port)"

Oh yeah, Niiice kill! Taking down a C6 is my goal for now. After the heads/cam/stall install I'm hoping I can at least hang with a C6Z06. Maybe. lol

Nice kill. All C6's have four pipes on their exhaust some have NPP exhaust where the butterfly valve opens and it makes it nice and throaty. He could have still been stock, since most are, but maybe not since he has different wheels. Even a bone stock LS3 is no slouch so you killing a modded one is quite a task. You should be proud.

Thanks everyone
when i put that in there i was running a 6.0L block with stock ls1 heads, the real bummer is i had to use the valves the heads didnt come with valves so i used the stock ls1's

So,it is a 6.0L block 30 over and forged, but the heads are stock 6.0l also because i couldnt afford heads,i had them rubbed on.

what kind of numbers are you running at the track? are you spraying or planning for boost? since you forged the motor i'm guessing you are planning for some type of power adder.
