This is one of those days where you wish you had your camera with you to record the nonsense that people do sometimes.
I was driving my wife's honda civic (don't get me started) with her in the car. When I pull up behind a Nissan 240SX with a wrx next to him, we are at the light. I notice the wrx with a gauge on his pillar and the 240 smelling really bad with a black bumper from all the burnt fuel. The light turns green and we all make a left. It had just rained and the roads were still wet. There was a fair amount of traffic around since it was around 5pm on the weekend. While driving down the straight, I'm still behind the 240 and he slows down next to the wrx and honks 3 times. ARE you freaking serious?! First off, the roads are wet, you aren't going to hook for ****, second it's a wrx, AWD is made for conditions like that, third there's a **** load of traffic in the middle of the day and 4th the light ahead is about to turn red!!
They take off and the 240 spins like **** and starts to fish tail, he recovers just to hit the brakes because the light changed. I see him talking to the wrx owner and when the light turns green they go again to see the 240 sliding his *** all over the place and the wrx just cruising. Next light is my turn off and there is alot of traffic now with cars in front of them, and then a cop gets into the turning lane where I'm going, just a few minutes sooner and they would have been busted.
