Default 2011 Camaro and G8 vs New ZR1

Run 1 - 20-130 Roll, ZR1 gets hit from half car ahead. Camaro ends up a car in front
Same run, roadside

Run 2 - 40-130 roll, ZR1 gets hit. Camaro doesnt downshift into first gear until a second into run (you can hear it)... catches ZR1 at the very end and lets off
Same run, roadside

ZR1 has a catback only. Stupid fast car with cool owner... wish I could afford one.
G8 has a cam, Procharger, 4L80, and some other little things. Needs a gear bad (2.92)

G8 Run - 20-130, both leave evenly, G8 ends up about a car back.

Car runs great as usual, Dietcoke.

Cars sound great as well

Curious how hard it is to swap the 4l80e into the G8

the g8 swap is the same as the camaro swap, same chassis, only difference is the actual rear trans mount part. He used most of my guide on his swap, and we both use the same controller

I really need a 250 or 300 hit on a controller. I think if my car was a 150mph car it'd do a lot of work on the street.

nice to see you got all your tuning quirks figured out, things seems to idle and low rpm like a champ now. Far as nitrous goes I feel ya: I've got literally everything I need except the tank to hold the race gas (got lines, pump, regulator for it) and a controller. As soon as I get my maf related tune issues solved I think I'll finally have every single one of my issues resolved and ready to throw nitrous at it.

I'll probably start with a 100 shot with only using pump gas until I get comfortable with the whole nitrous thing. My kit goes to 200, which I figure is the max my transmission can hold without a full HD build (ellis did kevlar frictions and some mod on the steels only).

Are you going to go straight to the big shot or work your way up like me?

It made more power above 5500rpm certainly, and pushed the powerband up 400rpm. Torque peak happens like 600rpm below HP peak. The car needs a bit (3-400rpm) more converter, but other then that, no complaints. Making enough power to pull a ZR1 in a roll race with an automatic, so something's working right

Sticks I only think my parts will support 125-150. Out of fuel pump around 800 on e85, out of wristpin at 800 per wiseco, not great compression height on pistons due to weird combo, transmission only rated to 800whp.

Car does run and idle great though, even with the TR8 plugs (it idles and starts better on 7s though). Mike @ vengeance did an awesome job with the tune. Nothing but good things to say
