An Embarrassing Kill...
So the other night after I got off work, I went over to a buddy's house for a bonfire. I pulled in to notice a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS owned by one of the biggest tools in my school and thought to myself "Good God, here we go." This kid has been on me for months to race. Long story short, he is dying to race and says to follow him. We show up at a church parking lot (LOL) that was about 150 yards long. He had another gang of people in another car to see the outcome because he was so confident he would beat me. I was so nervous about it being that there was a bunch of teenagers looking for a race around (you guys know how that is) and it was my first ever race.
He was by himself in his car and I had another LSx buddy from school with me (He has a 2000 A4 Vette). A buddy out of his car dropped his arms and we were off. I launched at 2k rpm having no idea what I was doing and kept my foot in it at 75% throttle trying to find traction. We were side by side till I short shifted at 5k rpm and then I pulled on him like no other. It wasnt even funny how far he fell behind. The finish line was coming up fast and so was the curb and the grass so I slammed on the brakes about 20 yards before the finish line and came extremely close to the curb and away I went.
On the way back to the bonfire on a road I know has speed traps and the cops are notorious for hanging out there at night so I was just cruising at the speed limit. This kid came flying up behind me and did a ricer fly-by on the 2 lane road. We pulled on to another road almost back to the bonfire just driving normally and he had about 4 car lengths on me just from my following distance. He came around the last corner to a straight streach of this 2 lane road and I could hear him punch it and it downshifted and he was going for it. I was in 3rd and took it up the whole way through 3rd and into 4th. Passed him like it was nothing and then we pulled into the drive way where the fire was.
I say it was embarrassing because it was just this little Mitsubishi that I stopped on. Big deal right? This kid finally shut up about his stupid *** car that he thinks is so great. I couldnt care less about beating him, but shutting his cocky *** up was worth it all.

Sometimes you have to give people like that the business so they shut the hell up. LOL
I've done it a few times. I think everyone has at least 1 of those in their kill list.

Reminds me of a kid that had a 87 GTA (claims it had a 350, yet the emissions sticker said 5.0) and he thought his car was hot ****, till he got smoked by me and lost to a sunfire...

haha this was at Automotive Training Center. I forget what his name was. That school had a lot of kids who talked trash with their cars. One of them had a civic and he tried to drift around the parking lot... ended up smashing into a curb lmao

I am assuming your sunfire was not stock? When I was a late teen a friend had a newer sunfire and we drove around town ******* with peolpe to see if they would race when our fast cars were broke. (Most of the time) That damn su.fire wouldn't out run a ten speed, much less a F body of any year or kind.
