I bet a rematch from a dig would give the C7 a win based off the mediocre launches I saw. Though a fair roll (zero passengers, no heatsoak) would be multiple cars on the vette.
Either way, kudos on actually finding a worthy car to race in a random encounter with room to actually run! Even in target rich Seattle that doesn't happen very often.

C7 has a poor setup and is probably untooned.

Its not easy launching that car in the street at 3-4K rpm will spin most of the time

Pssh, just because it has a power adder doesn't make it invincible: those new GT500's are fast stock, and even more so with even boltons which no doubt includes pulley's right? I aint no expert, but my shade tree internet tuner side says a pulley/bolton GT500 should be able to pull down 750rwhp safely without meth or race gas while a centi charger only pump gas C7 would be pushing fate to approach 700rwhp without detonation.

First 1:50 of the video is sillyness and a complete waste.
C7 was coming back strong on the last race but shut it down when he caught up. Would like to see if he would have kept pulling or not.
540RWHP seems really low unless the gt500 is barely modded.

my friend used to do the same stupid "catch up then let out" that the C7 was doing.. i used to tell him all the time "you know they think they won right?" he used to say "who cares?" lol well, there's hundreds of people reading this thread that care.... on both sides lol
I say C7 would have put buses on the GT500 had he stayed in it.. almost looked disinterested?

Keep in mind that shelby was heatsoaked badly and had 4 people in it. If car wasnt heatsoaked and only the driver in the car it will be alot faster.
