GTO on spray Vs T/A on spray - dat dig race!
GTO owner had lots of excuses. Wouldn't even tell us what kit, what shot, what mods the car had done. Known mods are from the previous owner telling us.

Nice run.
I am sure the GTO had a little more to give. It looked as though he simply had a bad start. As we all know, much more can go wrong from a dig.
Regardless, even with a better launch, it still appeared that the T/A would of walked him anyway. Out of curiosity, did you guys do a roll also?

No rolls this time. My buddy with the red T/A tagged the owner of the GTO in the video post on Facebook and now details are emerging on the GTO. Apparently it has a cam also. He only sprayed 1 stage of N2O on this run. Both stages is a 300 shot. I think I might need to troll him with my Cobalt just to rub salt in the wound.
Cars look slow because they are -- we're at 6000ft elevation so most everything up here is a turd compared to sea level, especially N/A cars. A good example is the T/A -- it ran high 14s @ 97-98mph stock and with current mods and a 150 shot he's running 12.4s @ 114-116mph now.

GTO needs to PM me, I'll tell him how to hook his car up from a dig. At least he would keep it closer... TBH it sounds and looks like yet another poorly setup GTO.
It's actually pretty simple to do it right if you know what to do. Reminds me of when the '03/04 Cobras came out and guys would waste there money on headers and gears and such without upgrading the pullies. First and foremost mods should always be traction: great 60' times are to be had with stock powerplants, but everyone goes after hp numbers first and foremost with them. My simple rule is give it more traction then it can possibly use, THEN upgrade power.

I was wondering how it could be stock but have Unknown mods, like spray etc??? And the race looked like a reenactment of tortuous vs hair with the hair winning this time.
