Default Fasterproms - WORLDS FIRST 9 SECOND 2015 C7 Z06!!! 9.87 @ 138mph

FASTERPROMS WORLDS FIRST 9 SECOND 2015 C7 Z06!!!!

9.87 @ 138mph

BOLT ON'S ONLY!! 714/RWHP / 720RWTQ

This week we added our Fasterproms custom 2.31 pulley and ported the blower. Headed back to the track tonight and had awesome results. We are still working out a few bugs and testing the limits of the fuel system. Dropped a couple of MPH in 3rd and 4th gear, she should run 142/143. Jeremys first pass he ran 140mph shutting down at 1100ft.

List of Mods-
- Fasterproms custom tune by Jeremy Formato
- Fasterproms custom 2.31 pulley
- Fasterproms Ported Supercharger
- Modified air box, and air duct with modified AFE CAI
- Fasterproms Thermal reduction plates That reduce blower heat soak
- Fasterproms Flex fuel kit- This is a flex fuel sensor that we make to allow us to run on blended e85/pump gas
- Fasterproms 1.5Gal Expansion tank tank for greater supercharge coolant capacity
- ARH 1.875 headers
- Hoosier 315/30/18 dr's — at Bradenton Motorsports Park.

This might be a dumb question, but why the DR with a stick car? I see that its working really good just curious.

Probably wanted to see what they could do without putting a ton of stress on the rear.

Great results as usual Jeremy! Can't wait to see what it does with some internal modificatons.

Ironic how a couple of months ago, guys were calling the C7 Z06 a "failure". Funny I don't see those guys in this thread.

The stock 1.7L Eaton is definitely on the small side. A TVS 2.3L would make a substantial amount more hp/tq across the board.

Here is a graph of LPE's 2.3L swapped Z06. It made a little over 100whp gain @ 13# on a bone-stock motor:

I imagine that blower with supporting bolt-ons and E85 would get a '15 Z06 deep into the 9's.

They were calling the stock Z06 tuning a failure. Not many people want to go out and void the warranty of their $80,000 car, so it sucks when you have issues like it pulling timing as aggressively as the stock tune does. Just a tune would make a huge difference, but it isn't worth it to many owners.

And I personally think they should have left it NA and light-weight.

GM tried keeping the c7Z NA but when it wasn't super duper easy to meet emissions and make the HP they wanted the just gave up and went to FI.

Vettes are one of the cars that work really good with a DR and a 6 speed it seems.

The C6 has a 6 speed auto and manual. The C7 has a 7 speed manual and will have an 8 speed auto.

That's quiet impressive considering how little is done. I better step my game up to keep from getting overtaken from a bolt on vette
