I don't have a max effort ls not even close...I'm running a GM production head,no solid roller camshaft and stock internals. But I do have 373s,run on pump gas, stock wheels, all sway bars hooked up,6500 shift points, can run 10s and trap over 120. A na bro won't nor any 4.6 car unless it's gutted or reved to the moon. Now with boost a 5.0 will kill me in a well though out street car combo

False. My buddy made 301 on a B head cobra with IMRC deletes, pacesetter headers, 4.10 (which are not good for power on dyno), march underdrive pulley and that is it.

Saying a heads cam intake bro can't run with you is saying something. Because a h/c/I bro is a 600 rwhp piece. Mine will be a daily driven 550 rwhp bro by next summer.
i will be a 500rwhp cam only bro by spring. now I can't drag race mine, but there are many more who do.
#45
That is not an answer. Rwtq? No 5.0? Not ANY? You must be making over 600 rwhp.

I ran 10s with stock wheels. I never ever had a drag pack on this car
and again reread my post.
A 5.0 or 4.6 with 373s,stock wheels,6500 shift points and na will.never run as fast as me. They need to run fuel, lose weight and rev high to do it. Period. 600 with heads cam????? Not with stock pistons and pump gas. All out of course they are capable of more power, they are newer. But they are plagued by same thing the prior motors had as a problem..no low end power. You need to rev them....

So, when I put this bro on a Dynojet roller and it makes 425+ rwtq it's a non torque bro? exactly how much torque more than a ls1/6 do I need to make to get out of the torque less category?

If they are not gutless then why can't they run tens on pump gas?????
All the fast ones are gutted and have super high rev points and run race gas or e85.
Gets really ugly when you compare an ls3 to one or late Ford v8 era to an LS1.
Sorry Nick I thought you could see my sig. Head cam car. Best time with bolt ons was 11.7 114. I had a lot of mistakes though

What's funning is the ls1 is old.
I've always contended a ls6 is a better comparison. It's old to.

I have no disagreement with most of that.

I can't speak for them and I don't care to. You said gutless. I made more than 300rwtq from 2500 to 7800. And more than 350 rwtq from 3500 to 7800 in 4th gear.
That's over 400 lb-ft of torque at the crank from 3500 to 7800. If you drove it, you'd realize it has insane torque from 2500 to 7800.
Is it as much as 6.2 liters? Well **** no. It 5 liters. 302 inches making 450 lb-ft at the crank at peak torque in4th gear.
