5g Zl1 stock are poo. Just with pulleys, cam, headers, injectors, and a tune will make it a complete monster! Absolute night and day difference with little bolt ons and cam.

Man i would have lost my mind! Then again I was in a similar situation with the fix I had, except mine was in the shop for a 14 months lol. My 2015 was in shop for 3 days. Some of that involved datalogging the car at idle and 3k and waiting for green light to drive from tuner.

Better be a night & day difference with 5 more mods & $3000+ put into it.

Low 8s in the 1/8th is like a record for a ZL1. They're a legit 10mph slower in the 1/4 than 13 GT500s.

Violent cars but you can feel the weight... bad. It stuck like glue to the track but you could tell it was pushing the tires pretty hard.

The numbers from the dragstrip for the Z28 were pretty meh.. I remember looking them up the day I rode in it. It didn't feel fast in the straight at all considering the amount of power.

Best I've seen a 5G z28 run at the track is a 12.6@113

He had more passes anywhere from 12.7-13.2 at anywhere from 110-114

We have a Z28 here at work. In pea soup air it has gone 12.3 117. No mods. Meanwhile bros at the same day or track are running 14s and high 13s at 105ish. That is a huge gap. Z28 is over priced and a different class though.

If Phil had a Z28 it probably be a 10 second ride with bolt ons and run 11s with a tune and drag pack.
