NSX rollin up on a 02 Z
On my way to my ladie's house and i see the back of a car that looks like a ferrari ( not familiar at all with imports ) well i get up there and its a damn acura....i was sadly disapointed and then proceeded to pass him... he hangs around behind me and then floors it...so of course i do the same he got a good jump on me but i still proceeded to real him in... over priced cars going up in smoke is the funniest thing..... i had fun though...

Good kill! I just toook one out tonite on the freeway. I almost ran him over until another lane opened up and proceeded to pass him at 120 mph. It feels good to take out a car that costs a lot more than mine!

If ever there was an overpriced car for what you get... the NSX is surely the one. It's the exact same car now as what rolled off the line in '91 for the most part other than a few very MINOR upgrades. I know the saying goes "Why fix it if it ain't broke?" Well, for freakin' $90K, I should be getting a **** load more than what's available. The only thing it has going for it is comfort and handling, but those two definitely do NOT justify the ridiculous pricetag.

Why does that car cost 80+ thousand sollars?? I never got that. For 80K Id have a Z06 with 600+ horsepower, or a brand new viper. When a 80K car gets its *** kiced by a 30K car, thats just sad.

Good kill. I've always liked the look of the NSX. It reminds me of a car from Ridge Racer on Playstation I think it would be a great cruising car to get noticed in, but not to race, and I would (and have) flat out LAUGH at someone with the automatic. I've never found out for sure why the autos get the smaller, weaker V6. Maybe the larger V6 made too much torque for the tranny? Hehe yeah right But seriously, I don't know why. Anybody?

me and my buddy's bolt on gt exhaust and intake, proceeded to jump on one on teh highway a while back when i had lid and cutout..
i swear this is the truth.. friend in teh gt can drive his car really good though..
anyways 50 roll they were beside eachother i was kinda riding both lanes right behind them.. they hit it i hit it a few secs later.. friends gt jumped out about half a car and the nsx realed him in about 1/4 car ... basically from 50-110 they were neck and neck with me behind them having to back in and out of the gas to keep from hitting them lol.. i never got to get next to the nsx, he jumped off on teh next exit about 15 seconds after they ran..

oh buddys gt with headers/xpipe and intake ran 8.80 on street tires.. not bad for a lil 4.6, though he really wasn't struggling to hook.. ran 8.39 on a 75 shot on the same tires.... i ran 8.68 my first ever pass with 800 miles on the car.. at the time they ran and i was trailing i believe id hit 8.15s with lid/c/o and nittos in some coooold weather
i say this cause i doubt the nsx would have gone 8.90-9.00 from a dead stop in the 1/8th for the shitload of $$$ the cost!

NSX, NSX... ohhh you must mean the most overpriced vehicle, EVER! They are very sad. Handling between a base vette and a Z06 (C5s), and a mid-high 13 sec 1/4. They do look nice though. But I don't think I've ever even saw one running faster than 11s. And that was a massive turbo and slicks. Very disappointing.

There is a guy near me that has a yellow one. Its really nice and it pulled on my buddies 98 trans am that had some mods and a 150 shot. This guy has quite a bit of money into it. The NSX wouldnt have much for him with the new setup..... if he ever gets it running You know who you are

I think they're a decent car. They haven't evolved much, so thats a problem, but when they came out in the early 90s, they were actually a decent deal for the money. They handle extremely well, and although not a drag car, you can get a used one for a pretty low price now. If you wanted an exotic car geared towards road racing events, this was a good choice.
A friend of mine has one now. She's modified it fairly well. Handles even better than stock, and with the Comptech blower on it, pulls a lot better.
A great car for the early 90s, but if you want it to keep up in the 21st century, you do need a few updates...

they handle very well and have great topend! I like them, they are hot cars, but just not drag cars, or bang for your buck. I would love to have one, but the price tag is rediculous. And fyi you can pick one up for about 20k. dont get me wrong though, i'd still rather have a Fbody, but for 20k and those looks, and handleing think about it...

For the ridiculous amount of money the NSX costs, with not too impressive power and lack of updates, the damn thing had better handle better than an Enzo... which of course it does not.

The NSX's are top-end cars due to their peaky engines, but that doesn't mean they've got more top end than we do. They do, however, have better aerodynamics and gearing which allow for their extra 10 m.p.h. top speed over ours. They top out around 168-170; our cars top out around 162. On the highway, a stock NSX would be a good match for a stock M6 LS1. Both produce great top-end power.
