04 Cobra vs 00 WS.6? The Cobra is a stock convertable with a manual. The WS.6 is stock with T-top's and a 6 Speed. Would there even be a chance of the TA winning

Although the vert is about 100#'s heavier, I have personally beat a 99 WS6 and an 01 WS6, both had catbacks and lid...when my car was bonestock, but a good 2+ cars.
You definately have a chance, as there are a LOT of REALLY poor drivers out there. I have seen 03/4 cobra's run anywhere from 12.6(my best stock) to 14.2 BONESTOCK. If the driver isn't up on par, these are two very even cars
(your ws6 and his vert).
Just browse on over to the ford boards if you dare...there are plenty of 03/4 cobra verts running mid 13's at 104-109 bonestock...DIRECTLY in your range.
Considering two perfect drivers, this race is "almost" dead even.

Back when my '02 was bone stock, I raced an aquaintance with his "fresh off the showroom floor" '04 hardtop cobra. It was from a 20mph roll and at the end of 3rd gear his rear bumper was 2feet in front of my front bumper. 
He is a good driver and I have been bangin' 6 speeds since I bought my LT1 in '98.

Well my best time stock was 12.9 at 110mph. My friend was runnung his 03 cobra with just an exhaust and I beat him ONCE. ( I believe he was nervous) I had to drive the hell out of the car to pull out the win. If you can row them gears I THINK you may have a chance. I also believe that my car was kind of a freak too.

Cobra unless the guy can't drive. Yes anything can happen on the street but a Cobra is a Cobra and we all know what those bad boys can do but we are too proud to admit it.

Well they are both fast but on this one stock for stock i think the cobra has a bout a car and a half edege with the right driver. I mean think about the super charger on that motor really wakes that thing up. I love GM to the fullest but i think stock for stock the cobra will win, Damn' I fell less of a man now.

Yeah i need a bad *** launch. Hopefully the Cobra doesnt get traction! Thanks guys for the input. Im racing him this weekend either Friday or Saturday night. Ill get some footage of the race!
