'03 Cobra 'vert goes down

'03 Cobra 'vert goes down finally got to line up against an '03 cobra this afternoon. =)
when the light went green, an 18 wheeler is still making its turn through the intersection. i give it a little gas against the brake and i hear his rpms come up as we wait for the truck to clear. when the intersection clears, we both came off the line with minimal wheelspin (i babied it a little, as i'm sure he did, too). he spins some towards the top of his first and i gain about a fender, which he closes back up when he grabs traction. we both hit second very close to the same time, but he spins a bit more and i start to pull. by the top of my second (around 80ish) i have almost a full car between his front bumper and my rear and we both shut down.
at the next light he tells me he didn't know i wanted to run.
he sure got off the line quick for not knowing...

thats what im callin on the fact that he didnt know u wanted to race...but hey if he didnt then u shoulda been like alright...ill beat u again just so youll know

you pulled a car by 80 with a 13.xx 1/4 time against an 03? wow
