It was a beautiful friday night and i had just got the car back last week. We did forged pistons, blower, moser, and fuel system. I was looking for something worthy of my time and one of my employees just happened to know someone. His liscense plate is Z-EATER and hes pushing a pulley system and a 100 shot w/usual bolt ons. We meet up at hooters and to my surprise there are about 15 cars up there waiting to see us run. My boy and i jump out of the car and i went over and asked him how much boost hes running. He replied....I don't know.... OK, well, lets do this. We jump in the car headed toward the freeway. We are on the onramp and there is a scent of racegas and ground shaking exhaust as 17 cars at WOT jump on the highway. As we approached a zo6 went 100 ft. ahead of us to look for cops and the rest of them basically stopped traffic on the highway as we went down into 2nd gear....my BOV sounds like a dam freight train and then BOOM. We stood neck and neck as we broke third, then about 5500 i start to really pull him. He sprayed his laughing gas and as i hit fourth i yanked about 2-1/2 cars on him. My boy who set the race up was hooting and hollaring as he held on the cage for his life... Then it happed again pulling about 3-4 cars in fourth. After we pulled over he said... I didn't hook up. I was running BFG drag radials and he had ET street....

Nice Kill ... However, in regards to the ET streets not hooking up that is possible.. matter of fact i know it's possible... a buddy of mine had them on his 03 cobra with the same mods and we were all over the road when he took me for a ride before i got my 03... he can drive too.. but who knows... that dude may have been honest or making excuses.

It's very possible that neither sticky tire hooked up...wonder why? It's called, NO tire is going to hook up at 30psi.

stop lying about it.
we went from 40 punch i had 35psi in e/t streets and I try to sprayjust went sideways in 3rd. I didnt even sprayed next time and you beat me by a 1 1/2 cars
when I got the tires down to 14 PSI you didnt wont to race any more from a dig. or a roll.

And this race was about month and 1/2 ago.

First off, it was 50 degrees out, one of the first nice nights we had in a long time. My intercoolers were working at almost peak performance. Secondly, I would love to take you up on that offer, again. I am in the midst of a couple different things right now and the car will be out of commision for about 3 weeks or so. I will be happy to get together and race after i work out these bugs. Anyhow, why would i lie about anything. Post that video of the race... I remember seeing you like 4-5 cars behind me when i went from 4th to 5th... I'm sure you have crazy torque #'s.... thats what happens when you spray a boosted motor. I would have planned for the race a little better myself. You and everyone else knew i was coming up there and we both should have dropped our tire pressure....hell, i was running 23#'s!! Why we didn't go at it a third time.... well, i had other plans that night and we were somewhere in farmland... I got bitched at from my girl b/c all my friends were over at her house and i was out racing!!

Where's the vid? Hell, I launch at 3K this AM with my fresh ET Street Radials and pushed on the gas as the clutch came off and spun 'em all the way through 1st with the setup I have. The Cobra better put on some wrinkle walls to get that power on the ground.

I will try to get a video tomorrow. my friend was recordin so he has a tape.
last saturday on 40f weather on nittos i ran 11.65 119 no spray
i tryed to spray once in 3rd and car went sideways at the track,still ran 11.51
at 127 mph. I m ready to race every day so when you get your car fixed you know where i m going to be. dig or roll, you pick it.

Bottom line, it's run what ya brung, and if what you brought can't hook up for ****, then that's the way it is.
It would be great to see what these 2 cars could do on slicks.

I think its amusing that the day i post this thread that you reply back the same night almost a month later w/0 posts... I will give you a call when i get her @ 100%. It was a great run and i will be happy to do it again... If i fork over some $$ and get my ET streets we can do this--the right way---at the track... or just out having some fun.
