Mach 1 vs 01 Z-28
I need some info quick. In short, I'm talking trash w/ some Mach 1 guy over on svtperformance.com and he says, well this is what he said: "how about 11.5s @ 118 with stock heads cams intake
no porting stock MAP , intake hose @ 3400# race wieght on radials
i just live in MI can drive anywhere you
would like to race or start eating your shorts"
Now, has anyone ever heard of a stock Mach trapping 118, let alone one weighing in at a stock 3400 lbs and on radials. Seems like to me.
What do you guys think?

Do you need help?? Jeff holds the F/S record, and you want to call BS? Just because we owned you over at svtperformance, doesnt mean you should crawl back here to seek some backup. Have you started eating those shorts yet?

Bill went 11.8's @ 115. Totally stock motor.
A guy in Houston (forget his name, sorry) went 11.9's @ 114-115 with cams.
Joe puts down 360/330 with bolt-ons and a better intake, im sure he can trap at least 114.
03Av8er went 11.8's @ 114 last year, totally stock motor.
Is this enough for you? Or do you want me to post a link to the 1/4 list for the registry? Go ahead and start eating your shorts punk.

(I get a similar response from folks at the track when I tell them that my engine (meaning LONG-BLOCK) is 100% "stock" BTW.)
I don't see anywhere in that thread that he says that his Mach 1 is anywhere close to "stock" - just that the engine is.
Jeff has WAY more skill, experience & bolt-ons than I do - so why is his 118 mph trap speed so hard to believe???
He was trapping 115 mph over a year ago:
Mach 1 11.83 @ 115 mph pass
You said something was impossible & Jeff stepped-up & proved you wrong - just accept it...
