Default A little M3 action (very little) ;)

Got passed up by a new silver M3 and he gunned it by me (I was stuck behind a bus ). Got in behind him and we cleared the traffic...young guy...seemed cool. I pulled along side at about 60 'cause he was waiting on me.

He jumped a couple times (I guess to test me),and I jumped back for the OK, then we settled at about 55mph. Gave him the hit with clear road ahead. He jumped half a car before I went and started walking away...gave him a nice C'Ya salute on the way by. I went to about 120, very short run, and I guess he gave up about 90 'cause I was just running away and it wasn't going to be any fun for him...must have thought I was stock and it would be a decent race...surprise! This was all motor of course.

A little fun after a long work week...lucky the road was clear and somebody wanted to play, seeing as how my only other "race" was a Porsche Boxster vert the night before...pretty funny, but not worth posting.

Yea, M3s are a bit over rated, in terms of how FAST THEY REALLY are, but otherwise, their beautiful and amazing machines all around. Defnitely a "Drivers" car but not an "Enthusiast" like an fbody/mustang/vette would beconsidered as most 3s are left stock. Good kill

A modded LS1 and a stock M3 no contest. A modded Vette should definately run away as is what happened. BTW nice Vette.
but he has an LS2!!

Yeah, it wasn't exactly a good match-up, but I was happy somebody wanted to play and the conditions were right! I was ready to let it rip this week anyway

At least he put up a better fight than the Boxster .

Thanks for the comps on the car.

Thanks for all the comps guys. I really appreciate it. Was on the fence with the wheels, but in person, they have really grown on me.

Here's a couple more shots for ya!

M3s I mean, they're Pontiac GTO fast....right? http://www.albeedigital.com/supercou...0-60times.html shows:
2002 BMW M3 4.7 13.4

I mean, that's about right, huh?

I played with one, knowing I would get burned, but he also underestimated me as well so it was funny when I did get on it and rushed past him. He tried to catch up a little while later, but traffic was too heavy and he just got off the highway.

BigRon77 - when you first posted, I thought you might have been the Red C5 he threw a rev to as he went by

Ha! Did you have one underestimating the truck??? I think that's about right on the performance #s. They are decently quick, and might give a stock Vette an OK race.

Where did you see your M3?

LOL - yep, I was in the truck - lol. He had popped out and I was playing "hang with the M3". He noticed me and tried to pull out... I had gone around him and he tried to catch up...but I was watching. As soon as I saw him hit it, I let him know "not without a fight" - lol

I think your giving them too much credit...no disrespect meant...the vettes are wonderful cars - wish I could have one

It was off of the 190 - black one.

lol.

Just saw this.

Nice job rondawg.... That kid probably is tellingthe internet world that he got beat by some fully built twin turbo nuclear powered vette right now.

Lol. I had a little silver M3 action today myself.

As a matter of fact, I think MORE M3 drivers try then anyone else. Down here, I see a porsche daily on my way to work, rarely the same one. I haven't had more then one bite yet...but the M3's....I think almost everyone I come accross...wants a piece.

Go figure.
