Default 1st kill w/2.8 KB

Im SEARCHING for a race...ANY race and I gave up, heading home. I catch a light and didnt even see a bike. Bandit 600 yea, I know. Light goes green I ease away and I see him scream past and I fuc&ing hit it...Im fishtailing left and right catching up, by 2nd Im even but litterally spinning next to him and start to pass with little traction and hit 3rd and litterally put 3 cars on him ( more on that later ). Few seconds later he does the flybye and paces 3-4 cars ahead, after a curve Im in 4th and Im 3-4 cars back I see him hug the tank and he gives all that little **** bike has....I was able to not only make up the 3-4 cars but also add another car in about 5 seconds with ease! The car is insane.

The guy was floored. We talked at the light and the bike has no 3rd gear, thats why I shot by him spinning. He couldnt believe I was able to pass him with EASE! He said " by the time I looked back you were already passing me" Cool guy. Fun *** race.

Good job on the new smilies too. WHoever.

I am in love! The car feels totally different, so much more low end power as well as rip the tires off top end. The thing pulls WAY past 6k. I REALLY thought I would loose some bottom end going with such a big blower but it is MUCH BETTER! I am closing the shop on Saturdays now just so I can get it dialed in and have some fun. Power...no idea, but Im sure my ported eaton combo was good for 520-540 and this thing is atleast 100+ rwhp more than that. I will have some numbers soon, since I am on a custom Amazon tune and need to make some runs to get some more out of it. Love it. Next week I am going to try MT et's. Man I hope they help. Car even idles smoother and is easier in traffic....awesome.

The jury is still out on the 2.6 and 2.8L still IMO. I'm hoping that they really produce.
I just haven't seen any conclusive numbers yet. If I can make 700+rwhp with a 2.8
at 23psi, I'll swap the 2.2L for one.

Jay,

I'm sure that thing feels like a monster though compared to the Eaton!
Keep me posted please on the numbers you put down once she's all dialed in.
I hope you have a decent tune in that thing while you're beating on it.
How much timing are you running? I'm assuming it's a pump gas tune.

I know what you mean, but since you cant even get the 2.2 or 2.4 anymore there isnt MUCH choice and there MUST be some reason for that as a blower company. I think the biggest obstacle is the MAF at only 90mm ( SCT ). If we could get a larger maf...100+ and THEN smooth the inlet ......the 2.6 and 2.8 WOULD flow like crazy, and I bet that if there is extra power (now) from the blower only, its probably from lower iats and maybe the quick power is from the new blower lobes....6+5 vs 4+3...who knows. I believe the timing is 17 but cant be sure. I have 3 different tunes from Rick and Im on the safe one with 93-94 octane. I will have some good numbers as soon as I can. I WAS going to do 22lbs but I got a stock size Metco lower and the 3-3/4 upper give 18-19 so that is safer! Its a SH%T load of fun and a major handfull!! Love it.
