I agree the M6 was outmatched by either car.

What video are you guys watching or are you so into the LSx that you fool yourselfs into thinking the GTO was "walking" the teg?

I've watched the video 3 times now and clearly you can see the teg pull about a car on one shift and the GTO pull back that car on the next shift and then stay DEAD even till the end of the video.

I hate Honda's at much as the next guy but I'm not going to pretend like that wasn't an even race.

I love the whole 'low boost/high boost' thing. If you are gonna race, put the freakin' car in high boost, because that's what high boost is for.

Depending on the setup it might not be that simple. Most cars that have a "high boost" map need a higher octane fuel to use it. Take the SRT-4 stg2 1/toys. It comes with a button to turn the boost up but requires 100+ octane to bye bye motor.

But I do agree the whole "I was on low boost" is usually an excuse. But then again I hear the "My bottle only had xxx psi".

If that's the case (I realize that it often is) then don't bitch about running 'low boost'. Run whatcha brung.

I agree. This vid was on the supraforums for the last 2 months. The gto diffenently wasnt pulling up top.

video is impossible to interpret unless you were in either car and were honest, I mean you can hear the GTO and then the acura, then the GTO, back and forth, I know this my truck at WOT from inside is alls I would hear if I was on the gas non-stop through the gears, if that GTO is what it's claimed to be, had he stayed in it the whole way I think you would've heard it the whole time, I think he was feathering the pedal after the intial race between the M6 and the Acura, it seemed like he was gaining but then stopped a bit and then got back on it and started to pull up alongside, but at that point I don't think he, nor the acura was still on it... another "who shot JFK".... whatever they're both fast, and in the end the Honda guys will say one thing and the GM the other... I hate that Fart Can crap more than you could ever understand but went into that one impartial and still couldn't figure it out.

Another thing you 4 banger guys have to remember is that a modded V8 will have WAAAAAAAAAAY more top-end than any 4 cylinder on the highway. Same goes for stock.
