hey i was just wondering if anyone has raced a G35? i got an stock 01 z28 camaro only with a borla exhaust n a guy at my school got a G35 and were talking about racing to see whos is faster. anyone got any vids or anything? thanks!

i raced a guy from a roll in a g35x and we where nose to nose untill i had to hit 3rd (he jumoed due to my plugs being bad and it started poping reall bad) nice cars though

A stock 01 Z28 is faster than any stock G35.

As long as the race is in a straight line and you can drive you'll beat him no problem. Shoot you'd beat their next gen G37 with no problem.

I had an 04 g35 coupe 6spd. and let me tell you that it doesnt stand a chance in hell against a stock LS1. I also remember racing my buddies 96 z28 with exhaust,shorties,k&n filter, A4.(me in the g35)...he walked me by about 1 1/2 cars.

what year is this g35? My sister has an 07 automatic and I read somewhere it ran a 13.9 bone stock, so if its a newer one you will still win either way, if its an older one it'll be rapage

I raced my buddy in his 04 g35 in my stock srt8 300 and it was sick how bad that was. I think a 99-04 gt mustang would me more of a match up for him. Go blow his doors off any how

you have to race him...and dont forget to take vid of the carnage. You will walk all over him. My buddy has a 96 LT1 WS6 formula and I was behind him and in front of us was a G35 one day. It went from one lane to two and when it did the G35 nailed it and my buddy did too. Right after my buddy nailed it I did too. We walked by him no problem. After my buddy passed him and I was goin by him he let off.

I used to work at a dealership and my one boss loved nissans. We took a 05 350Z convertable(same thing as the G35) in on trade and he drove it and was sayin that it was so fast. I said they are ok i guess, still slow though. Well he didnt like that haha. I informed him that they are like 289 hp and that my WS6 would spank it. Then he said(talkin out of his ***) well its the gearing that makes them fast. I laughed and informed that my 4.10s would eat up.

yea the onyl problem those g's have is they are a bit on the heavy side especially with the back seats anyone know off hand how much they weigh? id be willing to bet a good amount over 3000lbs.

just checked the g35's weigh around 3468lbs. the 6 speed manual its saying is a little over 3,500

so being you have more horse and you weigh the same you will def take him, unless you dont have the newest driver mod update haha

yup and the 350Z are about 3380 and the convertables are 3602

damn those things are fattys! i figured the 350Z would be a lil closer to 3000 flat but i guess not haha! with that amount of weigh nissan shoulda made those things turbo or v8. the nissan v8 in the titans and stuff would be insane in the 350z. those things make like 400 ft lbs stock. image that in that lil 350z!

g35-37s are chick cars around here. I know of 4 in my area and all female driven so I have little experience. Had brand new 37 try something with a major jump at like 65 and I was reeling him in pretty quick when he quit at like 90.

If they are on par/slower than 350zs you will get him pretty easy if stock.

i raced a stillen supercharged g35 once from a dig and i pulled away from him pretty good after 2nd so i'd say u have NOTHING to worry about with a stock g35.

cool. just dont race on the freeway. Triplblckls1 and i got caught raciing on the freeway on feb. 26. go far from the town/city in the middle of nowhere late at night.
