2000 SS Vs 2003 Mustang Gt w/100 shot
I was getting off from work when a 03 mustang gt rolls up on me. He rev's, so returned the favor. Next I hear him purge and he starts grinning from ear to ear. I ask him if he's gonna spray and he just grins bigger and nods yes. I was waiting on a honk or something, when this guy just took off. He got a 2 car jump on me off the line. I am running cold drag radials so i'm spinnin bad, but amazingly I'm still catching him. About the time I caught up even with him my tires caught, and I left his *** in the dust. After I was about 5 cars ahead I let off, and what do you know he pulls a flyby with a 1 finger salute and turns off. Normally I would have gotten pissed, but this time all I could do was laugh. I work with a guy that knows this joker. He confermed that he did indeed have a 100 shot, and he also used it. My buddy also said that when he asked him about it, the excuses just started rolling. I was joking around with my buddy, and I made the comment that he was acting just like a ricer. My friend started cracking up and then proceeded to tell me that the car he had before he bought the stang was a 1988 honda civic with a vanity plate that said SLEEPR !!

seems like a typical result. my buddy had an 02 ss m6 car with longtubes, slp lm and a tune. we pulled an 03 gt with cai and 100 shot pretty hard, maybe 5 cars from 40-120. after i get headers on the ta i am going to see where i sit with the same gt that now has headers, 410s, and a different intake manifold? i think. my ta trapped 109 with a lid and flowmaster muffler, otherwise stock.

Good kill... that hundred shot if he was otherwise stock would put him at 320-330rwhp, so this isn't unbelievable at all, especially taking into account your considerable gearing advantage. Some people get nitrous and think they are king . To s346km, if he got longtubes, 4.10s, and a Bullitt manifold (I'm assuming), it's gonna get mighty interesting. Once he gets to 5th gear you're gonna walk him like he's standing still, but before that he should be able to hold his own quite well.

Nice kill .
But.... just to make it interesting and for the sake of argument...ummm.
I would guess the 03 GT had more than just exhaust, maybe an intake + catback + 100 shot. His car is probably dynoing 230-235rwhp w/o N20 -- With nitrous probably 330-340rwhp. Your car, given the mods, probably makes somewhere in that ballpark aswell. It seems odd that you made up a 2 car deficit then proceeded to put another 5 cars on him.
Not doubting the kill, but to pull ~7 cars on a car that has about the same horsepower and weighs less seems hard to believe. who knows? the ricer GT driver could be a terrible driver as well as an *******

Not all "100" shots give you 100 to the ground. Alot are rated at the flywheel and make closer to 70-80 to the wheels. That puts the GT closer to 305-315 range.

Read my post and you'll understand what he meant. Some kits like NX put their ratings (100, 125, 150 etc) at the flywheel, not at the rear wheels. TNT kits are rated at the wheels.

I wouldn't assume anything. Especially since the LS1 walked away decently when it should probably have been closer if the 100 had been to the ground. Either way, good kill.

my old gt was a full bolt on, geared and sprayed with a 125 shot. made 360rwhp on spray and 440 ft/lbs. it clocked the scales at just over 3200lbs. that was MORE than enough to take out a bolt on ls1.
