Does this sound like a bad master cylinder?
So yesterday I was driving to work and go to stop at a red light when I realize that I have no brakes until the pedal is like...basically on the floor. I'm guessing its the master cylinder but what would be some other possible issues? I had just driven it home from school a couple hours before and it was fine, so this came on pretty sudden.

Most likely you are low on fluid for some reason--could be a leak somewhere. Check that first. If your fluid is good, bleed the system and check for leaks and remaining pad thickness at all 4 corners. Then try it again. If it's still not acting right, then suspect your master.

Haven't had time to really check it out. I did however check the reservoir yesterday and there was still fluid left in it. Thanks for the input, guys.

Its like nothing, then I have just a bit of braking power at about the end of the pedal travel. I can get a bit more if I put a lot of pressure on the pedal but its still not a lot.

Really? I didn't know the brake booster could affect it that much. I'll check it out for sure ASAP! Kinda busy lately and it just started snowing the past couple days so the car isnt being driven anyway. Might get a chance to look at it tomorrow.
