Default 94-97 vs 98-02 rear spring?

Ive heard that thats the 94-97 rear spring is a bit softer than the 98-02 rear spring is this correct? Im not wanting to go with a lowering spring but im looking to lower the back in just a hair is this possible to swap to the 94-97 spring?

Yes you are correct the 93-97 spring is a little softer. 110 lbs versus 114 lbs.
