Which Brake Pads with Baer Calipers? I installed the Baer Calipers with the 13" EradiSpeed rotors 3 years ago. Now it’s time to change the brake pads.
I just installed the Hawks HPS pads in the front. The pads stick out about 1/4 of an inch past the outer circumference of the rotors. Also, after driving about 5 miles only the outer surface of the rotor is showing contact marks with the pads. Braking performance is not any better than before either.
Is this normal? Do I need special pads that fit the Baer set up?
I do not want to drive the car anymore until I find out what is going on. So your quick response is apriciate it.

What type of Hawk HPS pads did you put on? LS1 Fbody? I would think you need ones for that specific kit. Your rotors are more than an inch bigger than stock LS1 Fbody. C5 rotors are 12.8 so that is close in size but that doesn't account for differences in caliper design.
