what shock rate should i go with HAl's

Default what shock rate should i go with HAl's

got a 01 camaro and its got 415 to the rear with a 3600 stall with a full interior and im about to order some hal shocks all around with front springs from texas speed what spring rate should i go with they offer 275 300 325

depends how much street driving you do and if you're going to go any lower than stock. 275 is ideal for launching/track use but a lot of people don't like it on the street, and i wouldn't go any lower than stock on a softer than stock spring.

I have had the best luck with the 300# front springs on a street strip car. A 275# is just to light for a driver especially one that's near full weight.

Another option to the QA1 shocks are the Strange units. The pricing on the Strange products are nearly the same (in some cases less) and the shocks are of higher quality.
