Not sure if this is a TR only thing or if other sponsors have the same promo. Ends June 30

Are the following part numbers correct for externally adjustable konis:

KONI 4/4's

Fronts=8241-1139SP
Rears=8241-1140SP

Appreciate it.

1139/1140 are the single adjustables
1005/1006 are the double adjustables

LOL at Mitch. $732 for a set of 4/4s is a Great deal. That's the same price I paid during Sams super sale last May, of course I get free setup advice if I ever need it. Now is the time to jump for people on the fence. The nice part about this sale is it includes the double adjustables as well.

so the 8241-1139sport and the 8241-1140sport part numbers would be for a set of koni 4/4s correct? they must not sell the rear shocks for the koni 4/3 package at tire rack then?

Look for 3rd gen rear shocks.

And here's the meltdown I bet Mitch is talking about. When the sale started, Koni raised the price on the front Koni's from a list price of $432/shock to $480/shock. Tire Rack does not realize that. They will when their next order arrives, I promise you that their price will not stay there. No way, no how.

I move a lot more shocks, so I was aware of this change from the get go (and my pricing is based upon that pricing). Yeah, TR will probably end up being a little cheaper in the end.... but then they aren't available to help you with the setup or information on how to avoid the little pitfalls on installation either.

I know so of you will go that way. Can't begrudge you that. But you'll also notice that the rears aren't even in stock and are listed as "special order" And if you look at Summit Racing you'll see those shocks listed for $299.95 each front, $187.95 each rear for a total of more than my normal price. And a reminder that I can't support product that others sell for free.

But I'll tell you what: I can't do anything about any orders already in, and the price is what the price is. But, here's what I'll do. I'll kick in free shipping on top of the sale price, and the included setup and installation detail help, *if you mention it when you order* (on the website order form or by telephone).

Is that a meltdown? Don't think so.

Sam is the ****!! i ordered his springs 2 years ago,Never had a problem. ordered new shocks about 3 weeks ago.(was running on the stockers)..he called me at home to tell me they were on back order...no problem there car is in storage anyway then just last week he called me AGAIN just to tell me that they were in stock and shipping out the next day. i should get them Monday or Tuesday depending on the weather...(supposed to get 12-14 inches of snow between Monday and Tuesday).
and just knowing that if i have any questions during the install that the answer is a phone call away is the BEST piece of mind anybody can ask for..that is all.

I highly recommend the 3rd gen rears for Fbodies. Good to know Sam can get the sale pricing as well.

I would highly recommend buying from Sam. Just his advice on shock setup and help with installation if you need it is worth the coupe extra bucks.

I told you.... I knew it was coming. See my first paragraph in post #9. They realized the pricing is wrong at this point. The message (I checked) says: "We need to verify that you are receiving the correct pricing on the products you have selected. We apologize for any inconvenience."

FWIW, I have shocks in stock.... And I'm offering free shipping now as well just to try and help that much more. When their "pricing" is fixed the number will be closer to $830 or so shipped. I'm not TireRack, don't have the margin to work on... but then they don't have the shocks in stock (note the fact they are special order), or the knowledge about this car and those particular shocks. fwiw

Sam, any idea how long your current sale will last? I sure hope it's also until June since I'll be poor until then...
