Default Torque arm keeps coming loose...any ideas?

Ok, so im not pitting down a ton of power but I do drive it hard but why does my torque arm keep coming loose? I have to retighten it about once a month, and I only drive it on weekends. The old one I removed was broken so I figured that was part of the reason, so I got a used freebie from a 2000 car and its the same problem. I put new lock washers on it also.
I was thinking that maybe if my transmissiom mount is weak its creating too much movement and causing it to loosen up. Any ideas??

I remember hearing someone else was having this problem. I think they switched to a crossmember mounted ta instead to fix the problem.

I don't have a real idea of what would cause that, but I do know an easy fix. Loctite.

Is this a factory rear end? If so try locktite like mentioned, also a nylon lock nut might work better than lock washers, we always use lock washers and never have an issue.

yes its a factory rear. Im going to try new washers and some loctite. Also going to clean the bolts real good with a wire brush. Hopefully this will fix the problem. Thanks for the advice.

If its the two long bolts on the rear I'd say the pinch nuts have lost their pinch. Red loctite it and be done with it.

Would have to agree with it sounds like the factory lock nuts are shot... try a fresh set of nylon lock nuts or lock washers

Get some sort of degreaser/brake cleaner on the bolts too to clean off all the rear-end fluid that more than likely is leaking since you drive an f-body. along with the previous recommendations.. I just found mine loose not long before it broke at the rear, I'm making sure I get the new bolts/nuts from UMI with my new torque arm soon..
