Im installing Stranos and Konis.....
And I was wondering if the Koni shocks have a stop built in them. They reason I ask is because I tried to turn the shock setting for the back ones on full soft, meaning, turning it counter clockwise and the adjuster just keeps spinning and never stops.

First you have to remove them from your car, then...
You have to pull down the black plastic sleeve that reveals the rest of the shock shaft and the top of the cylinder. On top of the cylinder there is a small circular button you have to depress with your finger. While holding the button you can turn the shock shaft with your other hand and you should feel the notches. Turn to the left for soft, right for firm and you should feel stops both direction to where the shaft will not turn anymore.
I have mine full firm right now if I were you I would try the second or third notch and see how it rides then.
What are your fronts adjusted to?

Nevermind... I just moved the good dang master cylinder out of the freaking way.
Did you guys follow what Sam said, to put two nuts on the top of the schock along with a lock washer or did you guys just used what was provided with the schocks ?

No I didn't. Follow his advice on That. Sorry Sam. I was able to use supplied hardware with no problem. I checked my shocks before installation from both ranges as advised. So i didn't get anything. Bad. But the compliments I get on how my car rides from others and how I enjoy the ride again has me sold to this guys advice.

Seems like lots of people like selling blown Konis. I'm not saying they are but I installed some used ones and I probably blew them myself because i was riding bump stops and hit some serious potholes when I went downtown. AFter that the adjusters kept on spinning... and I was told theyre blown

So I been running them at 4 sweeps from soft on the Front and half a turn from soft in the rears and to tell you the truth, I am not that impressed.
The fronts actually bounce alot. For example, I was on the freeway and there was a section where seems like new road and old road meet, so there was a bump and then it was higher ahead of me, and the car bounced alot on the front. I felt like I was riding in a slammed rice cooker honda.
The konis did make an improvement overall but, I had Stock DeCarbons and they have 100k miles. I dont know if I was just expecting too much but it may be because people make them sound like they are the greatest thing ever.
