Depends on what kind of driving/racing you are going to be doing with the car. Also whether your car is lowered or will be in the future. Tell us a little more about the car and your plans.

The ideal setup for a street/strip car would be a BMR full length adjustable torque arm used together with a BMR torque arm relocation transmission crossmember. The adjustable torque arm will allow you to adjust pinion angle and the crossmember will allow you to get the torque arm off the transmission and will allow you to adjust instant center. This setup has been proven to work will on the street and has been solid single digits in the quarter mile. Here are some quick pictures of the parts.

What if you were lowering the car 1.25 - 1.50 inches?

If you are going to lower your car you are definitely going to need an adjustable torque because lowering the car will throw off the pinion angle. I would recommend using BMR part number TA001 which comes in red or the black hammertone and is adjustable to allow you to get the pinion angle back were it needs to be.

Spohn make a very good setup also. I am very happy with mine. Speedinc. has free shipping on orders over $100 right now. I just took advantage of it.

You'll need a new mount with the TA relo kit. Pretty cheap for a polly one....

You can use any of the after market torque arms with the BMR torque arm relocation kits, if you want to use your stock torque than you will need to purchase a Prothane or Energy factory torque arm replacement mount.

I was wondering the same thing, my car is lowered on eibachs and its pretty low truthfully and was pondering over a torque arm as well. Gonne throw some 4.10's and nitto triple nickels on it as well. Figured the torque arm would top it all off...
