Picked up a pair of these 5" spring adapters/height adjusters from a local 'Tech member/autox'er for $10. Trying to decide on spring brand and length: 9.5", 10.5", or 11" <--- links
Any advice from you guys that have run/are running this setup? I'm shooting for anywhere from 1.5" drop to a 2.3" drop.
Bump.

For the sake of completeness... I'll be going with 5x11 175lb.

Why? Just asking out of curiousity. I'm assuming you have an issue you want to fix and thinking raising the car may solve it, and maybe we might have other ideas for you.

with all of GM's tolerance problems, my car sits a little too low in the rear.
the underside of the quarters rub the tires on bumps with 2 people in the car.
it rubbed with either 9 inch wheels or my 10.5 wheels.
no rubs of the quarter lip or the inner wheel well.

Did you remove the bump stops (do you even have bump stops)??
How much do these 2 people weigh?
Is your trunk full?
Have you weighed the vehicle?

Where do you rub? Inner fender on the side? You've got some wheels/tires on the larger side it looks like.

Are you willing to do a little fender modification?

That's not his issue. He stated "no rubs of the quarter lip or the inner wheel well." this means that the tire is rubbing on the top of the wheel well, which means that it is likely that he does not have any bump stops. A taller spring still may not fix the issue if there are no bump stops present or in good shape.

On a side note, I am curious to know if OP's bump stop relocation works properly...

He's either running really tall tires or, or the more likely no bump-stops and possibly combined with taller than 26.5" tires. FYI, you have to really tuck those tire up in the wheelwells to get them to rub like that.

Looks like his tire height is about 26.1 inches with the 295/35/18. That's only a tad higher than stock.

And yeah, does VAtech guy still have bumpstops?

yeah, still have stock bump stops.
now that you guys mention it, maybe the rubbing is the axle hitting bumpstops, not the tires rubbing the wheel wells.
