Default Lower Control Arms Relocation Brackets

Going to install Bilsteins and intrax lowering springs on my 02 WS6.
Want the lower stance, but don't race or get on the throttle ever.
So, do I have to also install control arm relocation brackets ??
It seems most peolpe don't on this site.
Are there any other problems, with NOT installing relocation brackets and staying with the OEM ones??
Thanks

It will help fix the geometry of the lower control arm so I would definitely recommend it along with an adjustable panhard rod to center up the rear end which will be off to the driver's side a bit after the lowering spring install. If there is anything I can do to help you let me know.

I would get the alignment. Tell them you just lowered the car and you have an adjustable panhard bar to recenter the rear end (if they dont notice that already) and im sure the shop will get you all taken care of.

you'll want to have to the thrust angle checked as well. Relocation brackets can alter it. There is a suspension section, and this topic is discucssed.

I thought I didn't need mine, but I did. I have roto joints on my lca's and without the brackets they would bind and make this horrible thudding sound over bumps. My thud is gone now because my ends don't bind anymore. I guess the brackets helped keep them straight.
