Bouncing rear?
In my 98 Trans Am I feel a bouncing from the rear like if I go up a hill or just typically driving down the road I feel the rear bouncing or shaking....its a weird feeling

Low speed vs higher speed makes quite a difference. Even worn out shocks can function well enough to dampen over a speed bump. If your shock fails to do even that, then they are extremely dead and should have been replaced a long time ago.

Do you have stock suspension? A lot of time, people use the stock length bolts on after market parts and they are not long enough and the nuts fall off the bolts. I made that mistake when I installed my tq arm and the nuts eventually wiggled off leaving me with the bolts just chillin, every time I hit the brakes it felt like i was going to endo. From that point on.. hardware included please!

Anyone who's read the threads on ls1tech suspension section for the past 10+ years or so until now would know the stock shocks have really poor damping. The shocks don't have to be blown to have poor damping control. Yes you will probably notice a lot of bouncing around in the rear with the stock shocks. New better shocks can fix this issue like Bilstiens or Konis. You can go with a cheaper set that some people around here prefer which will help a little but in the long run you will just have the same problem as they will soon wear out as well.

You might be right because if I drive like a grandpa it feels fine for a while, however, if I take off like at a drag strip as soon as I go a steady speed it will feel all bouncy and shaky for a while then it settles out and smooths out but still kinda bouncy....

your car has only 50k miles?
pretty good!
the only problem is that, with the factory deCarbon shocks, they really didn't amount to much when it came to performance.
You driving like a grandpa actually is a blessing because really, the factory deCarbon shocks only last about 20k-25k miles and that doesn't include the amount of years that they have been on your car, so your shocks have been blown for years buddy.
so at this point, anything would be better than what you have right now.
