Brake Question Affecting ABS?
Alright guys,
Did a rear end drain and fill of fluid about 1 year ago. Everything was good to go until my neighbor started talking to me. I wasn't paying attention and I caught the freaking ABS / TRAC Control wires between the rear end housing and the diff cover. Went and got new wires, clamped em down and heat shrunk them onto the wire. Both I have an issue, my brake pedal has to be pressed all the way down for the car to stop and if I slam on my brakes ABS doesn't come on (maybe due to lack of pressure?). Need some input guys, don't know if it would be worth my time to bleed my brakes? Getting new tires installed on friday, should I have them take a quick look?

If you have to push the pedal all the way down i'd suggest bleeding the brakes. i dunno how but somehow you must have gotten air in there. even if you cut the abs wires the brakes should function as normal, just with no abs.
If you pump the pedal with the car off does it firm up?
