Question Brake lights out?

I have checked stoplamp switch, and all fuses. I have turn signals, hazards, and third brake lamp. Looking at gm shop manuals shows that there are various points were issue could rise from but havent been able to pinpoint. Any and all help would be appreciated at this point. Vehicle in question is a 01' trans am.

I'd go next to the rear harness connector just inside the trunk behind the carpet and use an electrical tester to look for a brake signal. That will tell you if the problem is up front or in the rear harness.

check your grounds.. sounds dumb but we spent 3 hrs troubleshooting my cars lighting after we smoothed the engine bay... my headlightes were flashing and all my rear lights had suddenly gone sequential... turns out i forgot to hook one of the grounds back up... oops
